Africa must use the World cup
According to the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Issa Hayatou, African countries should not take the World Cup-2010 for a project of South Africa, but rather a resurrection of the continent.
"Many doubts are hanging over Africa's capacity to organize the World Cup 2010 in South Africa," said the skipper of the CAF.
He also urged African journalists to support the organization of the World-2010, stating that they have an important role to play in ensuring the success of this sporting event.
"Nobody is asking the African media to disseminate lies, but rather the truth, the truth that South Africa can justify the rights granted by FIFA," said Hayatou.
